GRB readily tests all strains upon receiving them in our warehouse using an accredited lab prior to introducing them into the marketplace. Until test results are back and evaluated by the Quality Manager to ensure all strains meet specifications, all strains remain in quarantine. We always test our product for microbiology such as mold, yeast, salmonella, E. coli, as well as heavy metals.
We also always do mitragynine and 7 hydroxy mitragynine testing – these results are used only for the purpose of understanding that our product does not contain any other substances. We test for this SOLELY to identify our product for what it actually is, and that it only contains the one ingredient (kratom). Mitragynine and 7 hydroxy mitragynine do not paint the entire picture as to the quality of whole leaf powder product nor should it be solely used as a metric as such. This plant contains MANY alkaloids, all of which are synergistic in nature.
